Tomato rice such a yummy recipe which I love the most, a hot and spicy recipe for foodies, and very simple to make with minimum ingredients.

Preparation time:
30 mins

Serves:
2-4 serves.

Ingredients:
Rice-1 cup
Onion-2
Tomato-4
Green chili-1
Garlic- 10 no’s
Curry leaves-10 leaves
Cardamom-2 no’s
Cinnamon-1 small piece
Clove-2 no’s
Mustard- 1/4 tablespoon
Oil-5-6 tablespoon
Turmeric powder-1/2 tablespoon
Red chili powder -1 tablespoon
Garam masala- 1/2 tablespoon
Salt- needed
Coriander leaf - For garnishing and flavor.



Procedure:
1. Prepare white rice separately, and keep it aside to cool.
2. Chop 2 onions, 4 tomatoes before heating the pan.

3. Take a pan on the stove with a low flame, pour 5-6 tablespoon of oil in it, and wait to heat.
4. Add 1/4 tablespoon of mustard and allow it to splutter, and add curry leaves (you can put curry leaves as such or if you like you can chop it into fine pieces) 
5. Then add chopped onion to it, mix it well then add tomato once onion turned in to golden yellow in color,
6.Then put 1 green chili which is slightly cut open, I'm adding only 1 green chili here just to add flavor not for spicy taste.

7. Then add 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of Red chili powder, 1/2 tablespoon of Garam masala, mix it well.

8. Make Cardamom, Cinnamon, Clove into a fine powder and add it to the pan.

9. Add salt to taste.

10. Now mix this recipe with white rice gently.

11. Garnish it with coriander leaf, and serve hot.
12. It is preferable to add few drops of ghee which give excellent taste and aroma loved by your kids.
