In todays post we are going to see the most mouth watering hot and spicy mushroom pepper fry recipe. This is very simple and tasty recipe which takes very minimum time to cook.benefits of mushroom:
1.Mushrooms are high in antioxidants,so it will prevent cancer.2.It contains selenium a mineral that is not present in most vegetables and fruits which takes part in liver enzyme function, detoxify some cancer causing compounds.
3.It is rich in vitamins expecially in vitamin D.
4.It regulates blood pressure, it has high potassium and low sodium which lowers blood pressure and decreases high blood pressure.
Serves:
2 serves.Ingrdients:
1.Onion- 1 small cup (chopped)
2.Tomato- 1 small cup (chopped)
3.Mushroom- 1 cup (sliced)
4.Turmeric-1/4 tbs
5.Red chilli powder-1/2 tbs
6.Pepper powder- 1 tbs
7.Cumin powder - 1 tbs(optional)
8.Salt- to taste
9.Water- needed
10.Garam masala- needed
11.Coriander leaves- for flavour and garnishing
12.Oil-5-6 tbs
13.Mustard seeds- 2 pinches
Procedure:
1. Take a dry pan on stove with low flame.
2. Pour 5- 6 tbs of oil and allow it to heat.
3. Then add mustard seeds and let it to splutter.
4. Now add chopped onion in to the pan, let it turn yellow in colour.
5.Then add chopped tomato with it, and mix well.
6. Now add Turmeric-1/4 tbs, Red chilli powder-1/2 tbs, Pepper powder- 1 tbs, Cumin powder - 1 tbs(optional), Garam masala- needed ,mix all the ingredients well.
7. Now add mushroom which is sliced finely.
8. Mix mushroom gently with the ingredients.
9. Now pour a cup full of water to the pan.
10. Add needed salt and stir it well.
11. Now stir it until water fully evoporated .
12.Then sprinkle some coriander leaves, mix it well.
13. Serve hot.
Combained best with:
1. Chapati
2. Dosa
3. White rice
