This is very simple and tasty recipe which takes very minimum time to cook.  benefits of mushroom: 1.Mushrooms are high in antioxidants,so it will prevent cancer . 2.It contains selenium a mineral that is not present in most vegetables and fruits which takes part in liver enzyme function , detoxify some cancer causing compounds. 3.It is rich in vitamins expecially in vitamin D. 4.It regulates blood pressure , it has high potassium and low sodium which lowers blood pressure and decreases high blood pressure. Serves:

2-4 serves

Ingredients:


Bottle gourd- 1 no
Oil- 4-5 table spoon
Mustard seeds- 2 pinch
Onion -1 (big size)
Tomato -1
Turmeric powder-1/4 tablespoon
Red chili powder-2 table spoon
Garam masala- 2 tablespoon
Salt- Needed
Coriander - for garnishing and flavor.

Procedure:


1. Take one bottle gourd, cut it into small pieces.
2. Take one onion and one tomato and chop it.
3.  Heat the pan on stove in low flame.
4. Pour 4-5 tablespoon of oil in the pan, let it heat.
5. Now add 2 pinches of mustard seed to the pan allow it to splutter.
6. Add chopped onion; allow it to turn golden color.
7. Now add tomato to it and mix it well.
8. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder mix it gently.
9. Now add bottle gourd in the pan.
10. Add 1/2 cup of water let the vegetable to wilt and water gets dried out completely.
11. Now add 2 tablespoon of garam masala, cook it for 5 mins.
12. Add salt to taste.
13. Garnish the recipe with coriander leaves.
14. Serve it hot.

Combined best with:

Curd rice, Chapatti, dosa.
